Forget Tigers and Lions!

Journal Entry: Wed Jul 8, 2009, 8:35 AM

Thank You in advance for every :+fav:, :+devwatch: and comment!!

Have you feed your Hadrian today?

So People... forget Tigers, forget Lions... next time you visit the Zoo go right past them and give some love to the not so well know Kitties out there! And take picture of them! :D I’d a really hard time to actually find photos for my Cat-Feature cause I’ve some pretty unknown ones today. And with finding photos I don’t mean that I’d to find the gems in tons of not so well taken photos... no way... I’d to find the right cats between all the other ones! Ever tried looking for a REAL Jungle Cat (Felis Chaus)? You’ll find gazillions of tigers...
But I found two real gems! The first is a photo of a Chinese Mountain Cat... the one I’ll probably never see... :( The second is a photo of a black Jungle Cat! Awesome! That’s like the Black Panther of Small Cats! :giggle:

Yeah... and because I liked it so much... I kept the game feature from last week... it’s further down...

Danke :thanks:

I agree. It is so annoying that people upload tons of tigers and lions but almost no other animals. Where are the smaller cats? The sea mammals? Fish? Reptiles? Or tapirs, reindeer, okapis for example?
All I see is tigers, lions, birds, wolves and giraffes. But there are so many other beautiful species out there!
Problem is: Tigers, lions and wolves are not only uploaded way too often, they are also faved most often. For example my arctic wolf-shots! They get over 100 or 200 favs while my photos of tapirs or reindeer get rarely 2-5 favs! :(
