I like this one. It looks really cool. Also I'm not 100% sure if this is really the Australian Spiny Leaf (Extatosoma tiaratum). Maybe some Australian can help? I'd also like to know if these are very common there. That would be awesome. XDD

I made the background b/w cause the Insect was hard to see.

Shot indoors through glass.

It looks like a stick insect to me I am used to seeing the skinny ones but I bet there are plenty here well more to the north of OZ they grow big things up there.. Not much help really sorry..

Just out of curiosity whats a tropical rainforest insect doing there is it your pet :?

Stick Insects are nice when we lived up North we used to have this pair living on the vines growing on the carport one of them was just under a ruler in size.. 12"/30 cms

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today?
Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present
:iconwild-soul:
Yes, it is some sort of Stick insect. It just pretends to be a dead leaf. :giggle:

It's not my pet. I think there would be alot of screaming when I would have such a thing. :XD: I've taken this photo in the zoo.

:wow: That huge?? Awesome!! I think we don't have anything bigger than 10cm here.
